Instrument 1

ORR Program Guide Development Questionnaire

As part of its efforts to provide relevant and useful technical assistance to program recipients, ORR is developing guides for current and future programs. These guides will include recommendations and best practices from grantees as well as resources and templates that will assist new recipients as they begin implementing their programs.

Please provide below any information that would be useful to future programs. ORR encourages you to include any details that would be helpful in illustrating how the identified practice was implemented and the positive impact of the practice on refugee participants.

  1. Please describe any unique aspects of your program that were particularly successful in supporting participants and/or meeting program objectives?

  1. Please describe any specific recommendations that you have for other grant programs. What program activities, outreach methods, and/or partnerships were key to your success? What were the most significant obstacles to your success, and how were you able to mitigate them?

  1. What information would have been most helpful to you, had you known it at the beginning of your program period?

  1. Please attach any program resources or templates (enrollment forms, outreach material, participant planning documents, etc.) that you would be willing to share with other program grantees.

PAPERWORK REDUCTION ACT OF 1995 (Public Law 104-13) STATEMENT OF PUBLIC BURDEN: The purpose of this information collection is to create resource guides for circulation amongst recipient organizations within DRS' discretionary grant programs, as doing so would ultimately increase the efficacy of the administration of Federal funds in serving newly arrived, ORR-eligible populations across the United States. Public reporting burden for this collection of information is estimated to average 40 minutes per grantee, including the time for reviewing instructions, gathering, and maintaining the data needed, and reviewing the collection of information. This is a voluntary collection of information. An agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to, a collection of information subject to the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. The OMB # is 0970-0531 and the expiration date is 9/30/2025. If you have any comments on this collection of information, please contact Anastasia Brown at Anastasia.Brown@acf.hhs.gov.
