Annual Evaluation and Performance Measurement Report (I.11- CLOSTRIDIOIDES DIFFICILE (C. DIFFICLE) TESTING IN JURISDICTION)

Annually, each funded laboratory is required to report to CDC evaluation and performance measures. Data are used to indicate progress made toward program outcomes. These summary reports have to be uploaded to the ELC CAMP at the end of each funding year. Required performance measures are listed below.



1. Proportion of available specimens cultured for C. difficile:

a. Numerator: Number of specimens cultured for C. difficile.

b. Denominator: Total number of specimens available for culture

c. Calculated: Percent of available specimens cultured for C. difficile



2. Proportion of available C. difficile isolates sequenced:

  1. Numerator: Number of C. difficile isolates sequenced

  2. Denominator: Total number of C. difficile isolates available for sequencing

Calculated: Percent of available C. difficile isolates sequenced


3. Proportion of available sequenced C. difficile isolates passing QC:

a. Numerator: Number of C. difficile isolates sequenced that passed QC

b. Denominator: Total number of isolates sequenced

c. Calculated: Percent of available C. difficile isolates sequenced that passed QC
