information by the agency. Under the
Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of
1995, Federal agencies are required to
publish notice in the Federal Register
concerning each proposed collection of
information, including each proposed
extension of a currently approved
collection, and allow 60 days for public
comment in response to the notice.
DATES: Comments must be received on
or before November 8, 2024.

Abstract: The Veterans Mortgage Life
Insurance Change of Address Statement
solicits information needed to inquire
about a veteran’s continued ownership
of the property issued under Veterans
Mortgage Life Insurance when an
address change for the veteran is
received. The information obtained is
used in determining whether continued
Veterans Mortgage Life Insurance
coverage is applicable since the law
granting this insurance provides that
coverage terminates if the veteran no
longer owns the property. The
information requested is required by
law, 38 U.S.C. 2106. This form expired
due to high volume of work and staffing
changes.
Affected Public: Individuals and
households.
Estimated Annual Burden: 8 hours.
