Because there is some uncertainty as to how the new bona fide determination process for T visa applicants (T BFD) might increase annual responses under this control number, OIRA approves the collection for a period of 2 years only. After 2 years, USCIS will have a better understanding of any significant impacts to the annual responses estimate, and can submit a 3-year renewal request with updated burden data, if necessary.
