The Federal Communications Commission
(“Commission”) is requesting that the Office of Management and
Budget (“OMB”) approve an extension of the information collection
titled, “Surrenders of Authorizations for International Carrier,
Space Station and Earth Station Licensees.” A surrender of
authorization is the licensee’s voluntary cancellation of a license
(or authorization) to provide international telecommunications
services, such as discontinuing the operation of a space
station.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
