Supplemental Document: Justification for a no material/non-substantive change

ATF requests approval to make the following changes to OMB 1140-0127 (Acknowledgment of Deactivation/Removal – ATF E-Form 3252.9):

• Page 1: Section I, added Spanish language for ease of use with Spanish-speaking informants that are being deactivated or removed.

  • Page 1: The name of Section I, “CI Acknowledgment” is now also written/displayed in the Spanish language.

  • Page 1: Section I, the instructions for the informant are now also written/displayed in the Spanish language.

  • Page 1: Section I, “CI Signature” is now also written/displayed in the Spanish language.

  • Page 1: Section I, “Date” is now also written/displayed in the Spanish language.

• Page 1: Section II, adding Spanish language for ease of use with Spanish-speaking informants that are being deactivated or removed.

  • Page 1: The name of Section II, “CI Contact Information” is now also written/displayed in the Spanish language.
