**This document is to be used to communicate Trawl EM landings, and does not replace communicating other
landings outside of the trawl EM fisheries. Observers at shoreside or stationary floating processors should still
be made aware of non-EM landings accordingly as well.**

Directions and definitions
Vessel name: Name of delivering vessel

ADF&G no.: Alaska Department of Fish and Game number for delivering vessel

BSAI/GOA: Indicate if the vessel was operating in the BSAI or GOA

Estimated time of arrival time/date: Estimated date and time in which the vessels is expected to arrive at the
dock/port.

Time of offload: Processor supplied information; estimated time in which a vessels offload is expected to begin.
Total catch (Hold and deckload): Summation of catch on board (catch in holds + deckload)
Deckload size: total estimated amount of catch not contained in the fish holds (yes or no).

Vessel tender: A vessel that carries trawl EM catch from a catcher vessel to a shoreside processor (yes or no).

EM trip: A fishing trip in which the vessel is operating in the trawl EM category AND has elected to use EM for the
specific trip and not carry an observer for the trip. Please note, just because you have an EM system onboard does not
mean a specific trip is EM.

Observer Notified: Processor supplied information; was the vessel notified of this delivery prior to landing? Yes or No
Notes: Any additional information supplied by either the vessel or the plant that may assist the observer in conducting
their duties (example: high squid bycatch)

The approved OMB Control Number for this information collection is 0648-0318. Without this approval, we could not conduct this information collection. Public
reporting for this information collection is estimated to be approximately 5 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data
sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the information collection. Responses to this information collection are required
pursuant to 50 CFR part 679 and under section 402(a) of the Magnuson-Stevens Act (16 U.S.C. 1801, et seq.). This form is used to communicate trawl EM landings. Send
comments regarding this burden estimate or any other aspect of this information collection, including suggestions for reducing this burden to Assistant Regional

PRIVACY ACT STATEMENT

Authority: The collection of this information is authorized under the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, 16 U.S.C 1801 et seq.

Purpose: Information submitted in this Landing Notice is provided to observers stationed at a shoreside or stationary floating processor in the Bering Sea, Aleutian
Islands, or the Gulf of Alaska. The information is necessary to meet the sampling objectives specified by NMFS in the Annual Deployment Plan.

Routine Uses: The Department will use this information to identify fishery participants and monitor the deliveries of catch to processing facilities. Disclosure of this
information is permitted under the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. Section 552a), to be shared within NMFS offices, in order to coordinate monitoring and management
of sustainability of fisheries and protected resources, as well as with the applicable State or Regional Marine Fisheries Commissions and International Organizations.
Disclosure of this information is also subject to all of the published routine uses as identified in the Privacy Act System of Records Notice COMMERCE/NOAA-6,
Fishermen’s Statistical Data.
Disclosure: Furnishing this information is required for vessels in the trawl EM category of the North Pacific Observer Program; failure to provide complete and
accurate information may result in disapproval of further participation in the trawl EM category.
