Offshore Wind Energy Development and the Gulf of Mexico Region

Offshore wind energy development is proposed in the Gulf of Mexico (see map below) by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM). This survey is one of several studies to collect information to inform decision-making processes. We are interested in learning about your opinions. Your responses will help NOAA and BOEM understand the potential human and social impacts from offshore wind energy development in the Gulf of Mexico.

By completing the survey, you are consenting to participate in this research. Although we hope that you will answer every question, you are free to skip any questions. Your participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw your consent and discontinue participation at any time. The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. You will not be individually identified, and your responses will be used for statistical purposes only.
