Good afternoon,
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service is soliciting comments on a
60-day Federal Register Notice, 88 FR 84297, for the proposed information collection for the
Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Farmers’
Market Nutrition Program (FMNP). I am reaching out to your organization to ensure you are
aware of this notice and have the opportunity to provide comments.
In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice invites the general public
and other public agencies to comment on this proposed information collection. This collection is
a revision of a currently approved collection of information relating to the reporting and
recordkeeping burden associated with FMNP.
Comments can be submitted through the Federal eRulemaking Portal. The link for the 60-day
Federal Register Notice, 88 FR 84297, can be accessed here and submitters can follow the online
instructions for submitting comments electronically. Comments may also be sent to: Allison
Post, Food and Nutrition Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, 1320 Braddock Place, Room
320, Alexandria, VA 22314. Comments may also be submitted via email to
allison.post@usda.gov.
Written comments must be received on or before February 5, 2024. All responses to this notice
will be summarized and included in the request for Office of Management and Budget approval
of this revised burden estimate. All comments will be a matter of public record.
