Procedures for Submitting Requests for Exclusions from the Section 232 National Security Adjustments
of Imports of Steel and Aluminum
Justification:
BIS is seeking approval of a non-substantive change to IC 0694-0139 due to an expected annual increase of incoming requests for exclusions on imports of aluminum and steel which are not produced in the United States in a sufficient and reasonably available amount or of a satisfactory quality or should be excluded based upon specific national security considerations. This expected increase of incoming requests necessitates the need for an additional 4,000 burden hours annually.
