The information is required to
evaluate the insurer's financial and operational capability to
deliver the crop insurance program in accordance with the FCIC Act.
There are 13 private insurance companies holding an approved
Standard Reinsurance Agreement (SRA).
The difference is an increase
of 8,458 annual burden hours and 454 annual responses. The reasons
for these increases are: (a) the number of loss adjusters increased
from 5,500 to 6,000 while the number of companies decreased from 14
to 13.
