Overview of This Information
Collection
Title: Generic Clearance for the
Collection of Qualitative Feedback on
Agency Service Delivery.
OMB Number: 1651–0136.
Form Number: N/A.
Current Actions: CBP proposes to
extend the expiration date of this
information collection with a change in
burden hours.
Type of Review: Extension (with
change).
Affected Public: Individuals and
Businesses.
Abstract: Executive Order 12862,
Setting Customer Service Standards,
directs Federal agencies to provide
service to the public that matches or
exceeds the best service available in the
private sector. Executive Order 14058,
Transforming Federal Customer
Experience and Service Delivery to
Rebuild Trust in Government, reiterates
that Federal agencies should continually
improve their understanding of their
customers and their customer
experience challenges. In order to work
continuously to ensure that our
programs are effective and meet our
customers’ needs, CBP seeks to obtain
OMB approval of a generic clearance to
collect qualitative feedback on our
service delivery. By qualitative feedback
we mean information that provides
useful insights on perceptions and
opinions but are not statistical surveys
that yield quantitative results that can
be generalized to the population of
study.

attention on areas where
communication, training or changes in
operations might improve delivery of
products or services. These collections
will allow for ongoing, collaborative,
