SCRIPT FOR FIRST-TIME CALLING:

Hello, my name is _________ and I’m calling from EurekaFacts, an independent research company, about an upcoming study sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are looking to hear from Spanish-speaking Hispanic/Latina women about their experiences related to their health and the role that culture plays in health choices. We will have a small conversation group (around 7 people) to talk about this topic that will be guided by a professional facilitator.

Each conversation session will be about 90 minutes.

  • Conversation sessions will either be online OR in-person.

  • At the end of the session, each participant will receive a $75 gift card* for their time and effort: an e-gift card for those who participate in a virtual conversation session and physical gift card for those who participate in an in-person session.

[IF MORE NEEDED: We would like to hear your honest feelings, thoughts, and experiences during a safe, non-judgmental, and respectful group conversation. Participation is voluntary. Your responses will be kept confidential—we will not share personal information or responses with anyone outside the research team.]

To see if you are eligible for this study, I would like to ask you some questions. Please keep in mind that we will not share your answers with anyone. [CONTINUE TO S1]
