Health Services and Primary Care Research Study
Email Recruitment template
Subject: Interview invitation: AHRQ Health Services and Primary Care Research (HSPCR) Study
Dear [insert name of potential participant],
The Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality (AHRQ) has funded the Health Services and Primary Care Research Study to assess the current state of Federally-funded health services and primary care research (HSR and PCR), and to identify research gaps, areas of overlap, and strategies to improve the coordination of the Federal HSR and PCR enterprise.
This is a Congressionally-mandated study that AHRQ has contracted RAND—a non-profit research organization—to conduct. The information collected will be used to inform AHRQ and other policy makers on the breadth, scope, and impact of Federally funded HSR and PCR, and strategies for improving these research programs to meet the needs of an evolving U.S. healthcare system.
We are writing to invite you to participate in a one-hour telephone interview to share your thoughts and perspectives on the current state of Federally-funded HSR and PCR. As part of this study, we are speaking with a variety of stakeholders involved in funding, conducting and/or using Federally supported HSR and/or PCR. We’ve contacted you for an interview because of your role as one such stakeholder. Your participation or non-participation will not be reported to anyone outside the study team, and your responses will be kept confidential.
We’d very much look forward to hearing your views on this important topic.
Please let me know if you might be interested, and if you have any questions about the study or the interview.
Thank you in advance for your consideration,
Andrada Tomoaia-Cotisel, PhD, MPH, MHA
