This collection is required in
compliance with U.S. export regulations. The information furnished
by U.S. exporters provides the basis for decisions to grant
licenses for export, reexport, and classification of commodities,
goods and technologies that are controlled for reasons of national
security and foreign policy.

The burdens hours and cost
estimates have changed due to an increase in the average number of
requests expected as a result of four new Rules being implemented
and added to this collection. Additionally, the average salary for
the public has increased causing an overall increase in cost. The
government salary has been adjusted to accurately reflect cost
estimates.
