Minneapolis used NLSY97 data in a
job tenure assessment titled: Changing Stability
in U.S. Employment Relationships: A Tale of
Two Tails. The researchers used the NLSY97 and
other employment data sets to understand the
trends leading to a slight increase in longer job
tenure (20+ years) and a decrease in shorter job
tenure (one or less years) since the mid-1990s.
