Justification for Change
May 24, 2023
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requests OMB approval for non-substantive changes to a currently approved information collection. Interview data collection instruments, project activities, and annual burden will remain the same as in the previously approved information collection request.
Revised summary of NHBS-BHBA data collection (Attachment 11).
Timeframe: Changes will be implemented as soon as possible after receipt of OMB approval.
Impact on currently approved information collection methods: None.
Impact on burden: None. There are no changes to the number of respondents or total estimated burden hours.
Further description and justification for the proposed change is provided below.
Revised summary of NHBS-BHBA data collection
CDC proposes to update the “Summary of NHBS-BHBA Data Collection”. The revised version shows the populations prioritized by the funded states for NHBS-BHBA data collection. For each year of data collection, funded states will identify priority populations in geographic areas at increased risk for HIV infection.
