The Commission requires carriers with
high-cost support to test their networks for compliance with the
Commission's requirements for speed and latency. This collection
addresses those requirements for testing speed and latency to
ensure that carriers are meeting the public interest obligations
associated with their receipt of high-cost universal service
support.
The Commission is reporting
adjustments to the number of respondents in this information
collection. The total number of respondents increased from 1,277 to
1,677 (+400), and accordingly the total annual responses increased
from 3,195 to 4,196 (+1,001), and the total annual burden hours
increased from 120,158 to 164,526 (+44,368). There are no program
changes.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
