SNACS-II will provide information from
program year 2022-2023 on the nutritional quality of meals served
in the CACFP as well as on provider characteristics, the nutrient
intake of children in CACFP child care settings, and CACFP meal
costs and revenues. This study will update findings from 2017 when
the first such study, SNACS-I, was fielded.
This is a new collection that
will add 26,539 burden hours and 44,176 responses to OMB's
inventory. For this change request, there is an estimated 239
sponsors who would have spent 45 seconds each for a total time of
2.988 hours on the three-part question. And an estimated 531
providers are expected to spend 30 seconds on the two new questions
for a total of 4.425 hours. The difference is an additional 1.438
hours of burden overall.
