To conduct a survey of poultry
producers to determine causes of and possible mitigation factors
against future High Path Aviation Influenza (HPAI) disease
outbreaks.
The U.S. is recovering
from a massive HPAI outbreak and APHIS wants to conduct a survey of
poultry producers to determine causes and possible mitigation
against future outbreaks. Seasonal bird migrations are imminent and
the Agency's goal is to assess and implement new mitigations before
future infections and outbreaks might occur.
Emergency ICR consisting of 270
respondents, 348 responses, and 155 hours of burden related to a
survey for assessing HPAI infection factors in the poultry
industry.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
