Paperwork Reduction Act (Act) Statement
This information is needed to recruit eligible students to participate in the Bureau of Reclamation’s Technical Service
Center (TSC) Summer Intern Program. Responses are necessary to receive or maintain a benefit; without this
information, the TSC will not be able to select individuals to be hired as interns. The reporting burden to the public
for this application is estimated to average 2 hours and 33 minutes per response, including time for completing the
form and preparing and uploading a letter of interest and resume. In accordance with the Act, Reclamation may not
conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to, a collection of information unless it displays a
currently valid Office of Management and Budget control number. Please direct comments regarding the burden
estimate or any other aspect of this form to the Bureau of Reclamation, Denver Federal Center, Attention: 86-68540,
P.O. Box 25007, Denver, CO 80225.
Privacy Act Statement
In compliance with the Privacy Act of 1974, authority for requesting this information is contained in 5 U.S.C 1302,
3109, 3301, 3302, 3304, 3305, 3306, 3307, 3309, 3313, 3317, 3318, 3319, 3326, 4103, 4723, 5532, 5533, Executive
Order 9397 and is covered under the Privacy Act system of record OPM/GOVT-5, Recruiting, Examining, and
Placement Records. The principal purpose for collecting the requested information is to recruit eligible students to
participate in Reclamation’s TSC Summer Intern Program. Providing the information is voluntary; however, not
providing the requested information may result in not being selected for the TSC Summer Intern Program.

Interns must abide by all federal regulations.
Interns must pass a federal background check.
Interns must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Nationals.
Interns must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate academic program.
Internships should be completed between May 2 and August 26, 2022.
