The information is required to allow
HUD to manage remaining HOPE VI Implementation grants. The
information is also required to obligate grant funds for the HOPE
VI Main Street grant program, in accordance with Section 24 of the
Housing Act of 1937, and to manage the grants that are
awarded.
Remaining HOPE VI
Implementation grants account for most of the burden. However, HOPE
VI funds are no longer being appropriated. HOPE VI Main treet funds
are being funded through the Choice Neighborhoods Initiative
appropriations.
