USCIS added instructions notifying registrants of a change in the order in which registrations will be selected and added data elements to collect information about the Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) wage level that the beneficiary’s proffered wage level equals or exceeds. The full scope of changes proposed by the Modification of Registration Requirement for Petitioners Seeking To File Cap-Subject H-1B Petitions rule (RIN 1615-AC61) is provided in the copy deck and screen mockups submitted with this information collection request. There is an increase in the estimated annual hour burden to respondents for this collection of information as the result of the rule, which increased the estimated time burden per response from 0.5 hours to 0.833 hours. There is no change in the estimated annual cost burden to respondents for this collection of information.
