The EIA-63C collects monthly densified
biomass fuel (aka pellet fuel) production, sales, and inventory
levels from U.S. pellet fuel producers. These data are used to
monitor the current status and trends of the pellet fuel industry.
The data collected are published in various EIA reports and
available through EIA's Internet site. Users of the data include
Congress, other executive agencies, state governments,
non-governmental organizations, private analysts and forecasters,
and the general public.

burden hours as a result of decrease of respondents by two. The
number of respondents changed from 108 facilities to 106, as two
facilities went out of business thus they are no longer part of the
frame. The total burden hours changed from 1,467 to 1,433 annual
burden hours.
