This survey provides quarterly estimates of tax revenue for state governments in the United
States.
This survey is a component of the Quarterly Summary of State and Local Government Tax
Revenue. This summary is the only comprehensive source of quarterly information on the tax
revenues of all state and local governments in the United States. The information collected
serves as an integral part in developing the Gross Domestic Product – a key economic indicator
produced by the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
