VA Form 21P-8938-1 (formerly this
collection had two forms: VA Forms 21-8938 and 21-8938-1) is used
to verify that a surviving child who is receiving REPS benefits
based on schoolchild status is eligible for continued benefits.
Without this information benefits would not be properly paid and
substantial overpayments would result.
