SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Job Corps
is the nation’s largest residential,
educational, and career technical
training program for young Americans.
Job Corps was established in 1964 by
the Economic Opportunity Act and is
currently authorized by Title I–C of the
Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act
(WIOA) (29 U.S. Code § 3196). Since its
inception, Job Corps has helped prepare
over 3 million at-risk young people
between the ages of 16 and 24 for
success in our nation’s workforce. The
Job Corps Hall of Fame Candidate and
Successful Graduate Nomination forms
would gather information about
program graduates’ post-enrollment
outcomes and reviewed by the National
Office of Job Corps for selection of one
graduate annually to the Job Corps Hall
of Fame and two recent graduates
recognizing their career success after
leaving the program. For additional
substantive information about this ICR,
see the related notice published in the
Federal Register on July 22, 2020 (85 FR
44325).
This information collection is subject
to the PRA. A Federal agency generally
cannot conduct or sponsor a collection

generally not required to respond to an
information collection, unless the OMB
approves it and displays a currently
valid OMB Control Number. In addition,

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
The Equal Access to Justice Act
(EAJA) (5 United States Code Section
504(a)(2)) provides payment of fees and
expenses to eligible parties who have
prevailed against a Federal agency in
certain administrative proceedings.
These requirements are codified in the
Department of Labor’s regulations in 29
Code of Federal Regulations Part 16,
Subpart B. In order to obtain an award,
the statute and associated DOL
regulations require parties to file an
application. Other agencies may have
their own EAJA regulations.
The DOL seeks PRA authorization for
this information collection for three (3)
years. OMB authorization for an
Information Collection Review cannot
be for more than three (3) years without
renewal. The DOL notes that currently
approved information collection
