The Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation (FDIC) is requesting approval to establish a new
information collection comprised of reporting and recordkeeping
requirements contained in a notice of proposed rulemaking on
“Parent Companies of Industrial Banks and Industrial Loan
Companies.” The proposal seeks to impose reporting and
recordkeeping requirements under the Paperwork Reduction Act for
each industrial bank subject to the rule and its Covered Company,
as such term is defined in 12 CFR section 354.2.
Burden increases since this is
a new information collection comprised of reporting and
recordkeeping requirements contained in a notice of proposed
rulemaking on “Parent Companies of Industrial Banks and Industrial
Loan Companies.” The proposal seeks to impose reporting and
recordkeeping requirements under the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA),
for each industrial bank subject to the rule and its Covered
Company, as such term is defined in 12 CFR section 354.2.
