SUBJECT: Survey - Redefined Workspace During and After COVID-19 Pandemic
The way in which we operate has changed substantially with the onset of the COVID-19
pandemic. Even in these trying and uncertain times, the Department of Defense (DoD) has
continued to accomplish its missions due to the hard work and dedication of our workforce. As
we implement our phased return to the workplace, much of the workforce continues to work
remotely to protect our personnel and to adhere to the published guidelines of the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention and the Pentagon Reservation Resilience Plan.
Our overarching goal is to ensure that moving forward, the work environment will aid in
maintaining productivity while providing a safe workspace for all team members. To determine
how the guidelines are working and the impact it has made on your organization as you are
returning to your workspaces, we would like your opinions and suggestions. To facilitate these
efforts, I ask that you take a few moments and participate in this online survey:

Participation from all agencies is essential for a reliable representation of the workforce.
A report of the findings and future requirements will be provided to each agency for consideration

that we will be able to strategically focus on how to best move forward. We hope that you and
