Dear Mr. Adams and Mr. Frierson,
Thank you for your letter of continued support of NASS surveys. Cotton production is a
very important part of the US economy, both at the farm and manufacturing levels. I
appreciate the synopsis of the cotton industry that you provided.
At this time, NASS has no plans of changing any of the price surveys or frequency of
surveys in the next few years. Only minor changes will be made to the number of
responses and respondent burden due to changes in the target population.
We will keep you informed of any future modifications.
