In accordance with 5 CFR 1320, the information collection is approved for three years. When EIA resubmits this package for renewal, the agency should address the feedback gleaned from cognitive interviews and public comments by clarifying the term “stripping ratio” and researching what the effects would be of of adjusting the reporting thresholds for Form-3, Form-7A, and Form-8a. EIA should consider how it can reduce the burdens of this collection while maintaining the utility and integrity of the data.
