The PCR Expedited Reinstatement
Application is to reengage with the recently evacuated RPCVs by
providing a straightforward process and opportunity to reenter
volunteer service.
The Peace Corps is
seeking an emergency authorization to collect information from
Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs), including Volunteers,
Trainees, and Response Volunteers, who were recently evacuated from
their countries of service in response to the coronavirus disease
2019 (COVID 19) pandemic. The purpose of the Peace Corps Response
(PCR) Expedited Reinstatement Application is to reengage with the
recently evacuated RPCVs by providing a straightforward process and
opportunity to reenter volunteer service. It has been streamlined
by removing unnecessary questions that remain in the original
application form (OMB Control number 0420-0547). It is also
critical that the Peace Corps rebuild its volunteer program as soon
as possible. Currently there are not any active Peace Corps
Volunteers or PCR Volunteers. This expedited application serves for
Peace Corps Response.
