The information collection activities
associated with the National Directory of New Hires (NDNH) are
necessary to fulfill federal child support enforcement
requirements. The information reported to, and maintained in, the
NDNH is used to assist child support agencies locate parents and
enforce child support orders. The NDNH information is also used by
certain state and federal agencies, authorized by Congress, for
specially authorized purposes to assist in administering certain
programs.
