Using Information Technology
The burden has increased since the previous approval due to the implementation of Login.gov for logging in. This removed the requirement for a 16 character password and has increased the use of HOMES.mil. The cost to maintain HOMES.mil has decreased as the application is in maintenance with no significant new development. HEAT was also added to the OMB package therefore increasing the respondent and burden hours.
