The information in this collection is
required to determine a citizen's (owners and operators of
U.S.-flag vessels) eligibility for benefits under the Capital
Construction Fund (CCF) program and to determine their level of
compliance once they have entered into an agreement. Each CCF
applicant must provide the Maritime Administration, Office of
Financial Approval, documents and materials required by the
instructions in 46 CFR Part 390, Capital Construction Fund. No
specific form is required, only a format specified in the
regulations. The applications are examined by MARAD officials to
determine the applicant’s eligibility and applications are retained
electronically as part of the official file. Eligible citizens must
submit a one-time application to establish a fund and annually file
financial, trade and citizenship reports to remain participants in
the CCF program.
