The National Park Service is authorized by the NPS Research Mandate (54 USC 100702) to collect this information. We will use this information to reduce the risk of introduction and spread for quagga / zebra mussels and other aquatic invasive species and for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of watercraft inspection / decontamination in the western U.S. Your responses are voluntary and anonymous. Your name and address have been requested for follow-up purposes only. At the completion of this collection all contact information will be destroyed and in no way be connected with the results of this survey. A Federal agency may not conduct or sponsor and you are not required to respond to, a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB Control Number.
