The initial intent of the waiver
valuation was to help manage costs and increase efficiency in the
right-of-way phase of a project by allowing qualified staff, in
lieu of licensed or certified appraisers, to establish estimates of
just compensation for straightforward acquisitions. This is a
one-time voluntary collection for State DOTs.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
