Attachment 2: Eligibility Screener

INTRO_1 The purpose of this study is to obtain feedback on questions that ask about how the coronavirus pandemic is affecting doctoral students’ graduate experience and career plans. We are doing this research to test the coronavirus pandemic impact questions before they are asked in the large national survey, called the Survey of Earned Doctorates.

This study is conducted by National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES) within the National Science Foundation (NSF) under OMB No. 3145-0174.

This screener survey will take approximately three minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary. This survey is being administered by RTI International and resides on a server outside of the NCSES domain. By proceeding, you give your consent to participate in this survey screener.

If you qualify for the study, are selected to participate, and complete the interview, you will receive $30 in the form of a virtual gift card or direct digital payment (via Zelle or Venmo etc.). The interview will last about 45 minutes and will take place in January and February 2021.
