Miscellaneous Actions
TSA is revising the collection and is removing item 7), “watch list matching for passengers in case of Secure Flight outages” from this ICR. TSA no longer requires aircraft operators to compare passenger names to the watch lists during a Secure Flight outage. TSA has assumed responsibility for pre-flight screening of passengers and certain non-traveling individuals against the Federal Government watch list as required by section 4012(a) of the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act, and consolidation of the aviation passenger watch list matching function within one agency of the Federal Government.
