First Invitation Email

Subject: Survey with First Responders on IoT Usage

Dear Public Safety Stakeholder,

I hope all is well with you!  My name is Alison Kahn, and I work as an Electronics Engineer on the Public Safety IoT team at the Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) Division of the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST).

I am writing to invite your participation in a study on IoT technologies to determine the most crucial information used by public safety during mission-critical events. The goal of this study is to expand and deepen our understanding of communications between first responders and show how IoT technologies may meet their needs. Your feedback will help us to determine what is important.  Additionally, it will become a foundation for future research on technology for first responders.

We would love for your thoughts and experiences to be included in our analysis. If you would like to participate, please complete the 10 minute Survey with First Responders on IoT Usage. Thank you for your time, and please let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Alison Kahn

Reminder Email

Subject: Reminder: Survey with First Responders on IoT Usage

Dear Public Safety Stakeholder,

Greetings from PSCR! One week ago, we sent you an invitation to participate in our survey research on IoT usage among first responders. To produce the most useful insights on technologies that help first responders, we still need as many responses as we can get from our public safety stakeholders, like you. Do you have ten minutes to take part in this effort, and are there any questions I can answer about the survey?

Regards,

Alison Kahn
