Focus Group Invitation Email
Dear [Clinician Name],
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the NORC Walsh Center for Rural Health Analysis (NORC) are requesting your input for a study on traumatic brain injury (TBI). The information you provide will help guide CDC’s future efforts to support clinicians in preventing, diagnosing, treating, and managing TBI in rural settings across the U.S.
We invite you to participate in a focus group to share your experiences. We have identified you as a highly engaged rural practitioner and believe that you will have valuable insights to contribute to this discussion. The focus group will also allow for opportunity to discuss with and learn from other rural clinicians’ experience managing TBI. The focus group will last no longer than 85 minutes and will be held on [DATE] at [TIME] at [ROOM LOCATION]. Participation in the study is voluntary. You may choose not to answer any questions that you do not wish to answer. You can end your participation at any time. There are no expected risks to participating in this focus group. All information collected for this study will be kept secure to the extent permitted by law.
If you are willing to participate in a focus group, please reply to this email or contact [Research Assistant] at [email] or [telephone number].
Your participation is very important to help us improve the quality of care for patients diagnosed with TBI.
If you have any questions, please contact the NORC Project Director, Alana Knudson (Knudson-Alana@norc.org, 301-634-9326).
Sincerely,
[SIGNATURE BLOCK]
