NYCALC Po al Questionnaire
Due to your active involvement in the NYCALC program, we are seeking your input on the soonto-be developed online resources portal.
Objective: To create an online roundtable platform that will allow stakeholders (Native youth,
Native college-age students, Native community mentors, and Federal employees) to share and
gather resources, communicate with one another, and ultimately, remain connected throughout
the year leading up to and following the annual Native Youth Congress at NCTC.

Paperwork Reduction Act Statement:
We are collecting this information subject to the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. 3501) to query federal agency
partners and not for profit partners regarding further development of the NYCALC (Native Youth Community
Adaptation and Leadership Congress) program. Conducting this survey will help us improve future services and
communication related to the NYCALC program. Your response is voluntary and we will not share the results
publicly. We may not conduct or sponsor and you are not required to respond to a collection of information unless
it displays a currently valid OMB Control Number. OMB has reviewed and approved this survey and assigned OMB
Control Number 1090-0011, which expires 10/31/2021.

Estimated Burden Statement:
We estimate the survey will take you approximately 10 minutes to complete, including time to read instructions,
gather information, and complete and submit the survey. You may submit comments on any aspect of this
information collection to the Information Collection Clearance Officer, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, 5275 Leesburg

NYCALC Mission Statement:
The mission of the Native Youth Community Adaptation and Leadership Congress (NYCALC) is to develop future
conservation leaders with the skills, knowledge, and tools to address environmental change and conservation
challenges to better serve their schools and home communities.
