The Department of Commerce will

comprehensive research program
resulting from passage of Public Law
86–359, Study of Migratory Game Fish,
and other legislative acts under which
the National Marine Fisheries Service
(NMFS) operates. The Cooperative
Tagging Center attempts to determine
the migration patterns of, and other
biological information for, billfish,
tunas, and swordfish. The fish tagging
report is provided to the angler with the
tags, and he/she fills out the card with
the information when a fish is tagged
and mails it to NMFS. Information on
each species is used by NMFS to
determine migratory patterns, distance
traveled, stock boundaries, age, and
growth. These data are necessary input
for developing management criteria by
regional fishery management councils,
states, and NMFS.

[Docket No. CFPB–2 018–0001]
Request for Information Regarding

Bureau of Consumer Financial

ACTION: Notice; extension of comment
period.
AGENCY:
On January 26, 2018, the
Bureau of Consumer Financial
Protection (Bureau) published a Request
for Information Regarding Bureau Civil
Investigative Demands and Associated
Processes (RFI), which provided that
comments must be received on or before
March 27, 2018. On February 22, 2018,
the Bureau received a letter from two
industry trade associations requesting a
30-day comment period extension for
this RFI and for two other Bureau

time is requested in order to allow
commenters to develop meaningful
responses to the RFI and the other

Bureau believes the extension will allow
all stakeholders the opportunity to
provide more robust responses. In
response to this request, the Bureau has
determined that a 30 day extension of
the comment period is appropriate.
