institutions generally must submit deposit data more frequently
than smaller ones. These mandatory data are used by the Federal
Reserve for administering Regulation D (Reserve Requirements of
Depository Institutions) and for constructing, analyzing, and
monitoring the monetary and reserve aggregates.
