Federal Register Notice on Solicitation for Applications for Medicare Prescription Drug Plan 2019 Contracts
CMS received one comment from a health plan, suggesting that we add language in our description of the requirement that sponsors and their first tier, downstream, and related entities make its books and records available to HHS, the Comptroller General, and designees. Specifically, the commenter suggested that we add “computers or other electronic systems” to list of examples of such records. This example is listed in the regulation at 42 CFR §423.505(i)(2)(i). CMS accepted this comment and has edited the description and the associated contract crosswalks accordingly. The change did not change burden estimates.
