Credit union members need the
information to evaluate the conversion and merger proposals on
which they are to vote. NCUA needs the information to fulfill its
statutory duty to administer the membership and to approve or
disapprove the merger.
An increase of two hours is
requested on Federal Credit Unions to clarify under §§
708a.104(f)(3) and 708a.305(g)(3) of the member-to-member
communication circumstances where a member wishes to reply to a
member-to-member communication sent by e-mail.
