Forms 7512, Transportation Entry and
Manifest of Goods Subject to CBP Inspection and Permit and 7512A,
Continuation Sheet, allow CBP to exercise proper control over
merchandise moving in-bond (merchandise that has not entered the
commerce of the United States). These forms provide documentation
that CBP uses for enforcement, targeting, and protection of
revenue.
