NHTSA proposes to collect user feedback and input on the Countermeasures That Work and Countermeasures At Work guides. To collect this information for the 10th edition of Countermeasures That Work and the new guide effort, Countermeasures At Work, NHTSA is requesting approval to conduct surveys (NHTSA Forms 1343 and 1344) of representatives from the State Highway Safety Offices (SHSOs) and/or local jurisdictions, in addition to representatives from the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA), State Coordinators, and other relevant stakeholders. The data collected in this study will help to better understand user needs and information requirements which will be used to update the content of Countermeasures That Work and develop and populate Countermeasures At Work.
