U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
Visitor Survey

Dear Visitor,
On [XXXXXXXXX] you completed a face-to-face survey during your visit to [XXXXXX]. If this is not correct please click here.
The survey is part of a national scientific research effort being conducted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). At that
time, you agreed to participate in a short, web-based follow-up survey and provided your email address.
The web-based survey should take less than 11 minutes to complete, not all questions are asked of all visitors. If you have already
completed one of these web-based surveys we thank you for being a frequent visitor to Corp’s lakes. Since each visit is a little
different, we would greatly appreciate if you would also complete the survey for the visit identified above.
The survey asks questions about the trip during which you visited the lake, including the activities in which you participated, and
what you spent during the trip. This information will be used to estimate the economic impact and significance of USACE recreation
areas. It is as important for us to know the percentage of folks that visit our lakes every day to walk their dog and have no large
expenses associated with their visit as it is for us to know about the campers that spent 14 nights at the lake and contributed to the
local economy.
