Dear Dr. __________,
We will be conducting a focus group at your practice to better understand pediatrician perceptions and preferences regarding antibiotic stewardship metrics in the primary care setting. This information will be used to design educational materials and an intervention that will be implemented in the CHOP network, so your feedback is very important.
The focus group will take approximately 1 hour and will include other clinicians from your practice. Dr. Julie Szymczak will lead the focus group and Dr. Jeff Gerber will provide a brief presentation on antibiotic stewardship metrics. We will be scheduling the focus group during a time when your practice has a regularly-occurring meeting to reduce burden on you.
The study is completely voluntary but we would very much appreciate your participation. Please let us know if you are interested in attending the focus group and/or if you have any questions.
